Responsibilities:
1. Design, rapidly prototype, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable web applications using Java and Web 2.0 technologies.
2. Enforce code quality through test driven development.
3. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to define product requirements.
4. Distill product requirements into design and technical specifications.
5. Aggressively collect, analyze, and act on data about product performance.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
1. 2-5 years experience building compelling web applications.
2. Strong Design and development skills with expertise in Java/J2EE Technologies viz Tomcat, Struts, Hibernate, Spring etc.
3. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL.
4. Experience in Business Rules and workflow platforms like Drools and jBPM is preferred
5. Experience in Reporting tools like BIRT will be an added advantage.
6. Working knowledge of JavaScript, Jquery, AngularJS, BackboneJS and CSS will be an added advantage.
7. Significant experience in developing web applications using above technologies.
8. Engineering degree in computer science or associated disciplines is preferred.
9. Strong interest in product design and building scalable apps.
10. Passionate about working in a high energy startup environment.
