Job Description:

1. This position is for Software Developer for Securitied products group, part of the Investment Bank at our Mumbai Office.

2. The candidate will join Trading and Risk management application development team tasked with developing robust, scalable and maintainable applications

3. Proactively identify and make enhancements to existing applications.

4. The candidate may be responsible for more than one project at a time.

5. Build a strong partnership with Business, Operations, and other Technology team members

6. Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk

7. Provide third level support to the Global Operate team and user community

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

1. 4-7 years experience with complete software development lifecycle (analysis through deployment)

2. 5+ years design and development of multi-tier software applications.

3. Strong C# programming skills.

4. Good knowledge of ADO.Net, WCF or WPF

5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment

6. Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities

7. Good verbal and written communication skills

8. Familiarity with data modeling & database management (e.g., SQL, Sybase, DB2)
