Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in upstream communities, e.g. OpenStack specific to the area of infrastructure deployment scenario

2. Contribute to the extension to the scope of Certification

3. Work on special projects as needed

Candidate Profile:

Required skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field; engineering or computer science background is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be also considered

2. 1+ year(s) of systems programming experience on Linux or UNIX

3. Familiarity with application profiling, debugging, and analysis

4. Development experience in Python or Ruby (especially application development)

5. Prior participation and active community member in open source software projects (e.g. OpenStack) is a significant advantage

6. Familiarity with system internals

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

8. Creative, motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a globally distributed team

9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
