Job Description:

1. Interpret requirements and write design specifications.

2. Develop code in C++ language in compliance with Microsemi's coding standards.

3. Follow the workflow processes for source configuration management.

4. Conduct code reviews with peers.

5. Analyse, detect and resolve issues with performance, memory, portability and code coverage.

6. Create and extend automated component tests.

7. File and fix defects.

8. Deliver high-quality production software

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications: 

1. BS/MS or equivalent in EE/ECE/CSE

2. Strong C++ programming skills.

3. Good understanding of STL, design patterns, data structure and algorithms.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

5. EDA (ASIC or FPGA) tool related GUI development experience using Qt would be a definite plus.

6. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) would be a plus

7. It is essential that the candidate is highly motivated, responsible, and is a good team player with good oral and written communication skills in English.

8. It is also essential that the candidate has a strong desire to learn and to explore new technologies in the areas of EDA and FPGA design

9. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and with multiple functional groups distributed geographically
