Job Description:

1. Must have full life-cycle experience in large, global multi-tiered systems, preferably in the financial industry
2. Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication / presentation skills; build relationship with business and participate in “sit-with” session to gain Business Knowledge.
3. Strong technical documentation skills and Demonstrates initiative and is a self starter
4. Prepared to challenge when business requirements seem conflicting and Drive/Determination and knowledge.
5. Provide technical leadership for large and complex projects and Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience using BI tools (Cognos, Tableau or BO, SAS BI)
3. Knowledge of various data modeling concepts and methodologies
4. Experience with scheduling jobs on CRON and using a scheduling tool like Control-M
5. Experience with CVS, SUBVERSION similar source code versioning tools

Skills:

1. High level of personal commitment to each task, a can do attitude and a drive to deliver.
2. Strong communication skills to be able to communicate at all levels..
3. Ability to gather and understand requirements.
4. High level of responsibility and Ownership from inception through to implementation.
5. The candidate should have a proactive approach to problem solving.
6. Good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving
7. Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills
