Job Role Systems Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:

Job Description:
1. Work with Business Analyst clients to clarify business requirements, map them to systems capabilities, and recommend technical solutions.
2. Convert client requirements into technical terms for the development team, and advise clients on resource requirements, scope, budgets, and timing.
3. Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications between the business and the development teams.
4. Document changes and create troubleshooting guides, may provide Level 3 production support when Level 1 or 2 at the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) is unable to solve a problem.
5. Work on several projects simultaneously (except ERP-type aps, then work on 1 release at a time) in teams with other Systems Analysts and developers.
6. The Grade 3 Systems Analyst performs this function as part of a team for small projects, this level typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Strong analytical skills in translating business needs into realistic action plans and deliver technical solutions that meet stakeholders' expectations.
3. Strong problem solving skill - ability to troubleshoot issues, find root cause, recommend & apply solutions.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Desire to acquire business acumen and work closely with business stakeholders.
6. Team work - Ability to work well and collaborate with others to achieve high quality results.
7. Knowledge of programming languages (.Net, Java etc.) and database technologies (Oracle, SQL etc.) .
