NThe Constitution of the Board of the Bank is governed by “The Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, formulated by the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of “The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Ac, t 1970″.
The Composition of the Board of Directors of a Bank is governed by “The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions)Scheme 1970″ read with “The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) and Financial Institutions Laws (Amendment) Act 2006″ and amendment to thevide Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 19.02.2007 of the Central Government.
Job Description:
Economist :
Qualification : Candidate should have passed Minimum Post Graduate in Economics with specialization in monetary/financial economics or econometrics from a recognized Indian/Foreign University / Institute. Preference will be given to candidates with doctorate degree in areas of money/banking/international finance.
Pay Scale : Rs.60000/-P.M.
Age Limit : 40 Years
Chief Economist:
Qualification : Candidate should have passed Graduate in Economics with specialization in monetary/financial economics or econometrics from a recognized Indian/Foreign University/Institute. Preference will be given to candidates with doctorate degree in areas of money/banking/international finance.
Pay Scale : Rs.75000/-P.M.
Age Limit : 45-62 Years
Chartered Accountant:
Qualification : Candidate should have passed final examination for Chartered Accountants. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed ACS and /or ICWA.
Pay Scale : Rs.60000/-P.M.
Age Limit : 62 Years
Chief Customer Service Officer:
Qualification : Retired General Manager from a Public Sector Bank other than Indian Overseas Bank
Pay Scale : Rs.60000/-P.M.
Age Limit : 62 Years
Candidate Profile:
1. Candidates are required to apply only ‘ONLINE’. Any other form of application shall be rejected.
2. Incomplete applications / Applications without supporting documents will be rejected outright.
3. All candidates will have to produce, if called for interview, originals as well as attested photocopies of documents
in support of their eligibility such as age, educational qualification, experience or any other required certificate, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
4.
